SeeSaw app

March2

Hester math groups only: We are using 2 new apps in the classroom to demonstrate understanding of the concepts covered: SeeSaw and Chatterpix Kids. Both are free apps and are moderated before posted for others to see. SeeSaw can be accessed through a computer as well. Letters will be going home later this week for you to access your child’s account to see what we’ve been doing in the classroom. You will need to scan the QR code to access your child’s account. Please let me know if you have any questions.

AdvancED Parent Survey

Parents may complete the survey using their personal computer, smartphones or tablet.  All parents should be encouraged to participate in the AdvancED Parent Survey because the data will be used to inform the school and the district of parent’s opinions. Survey responses are anonymous and will be submitted directly to AdvancED’s eProve for analysis.  Individual data results from the Georgia Parent Survey will not be available to the public and will not be posted online.  The URL address for the AdvancED Parent Survey is posted below.

-currency from that country equivalent to 20 US dollars or more

-their passport (completed in class)

-study their citizenship test (must pass test on Immigration Day)

Math Grade Recovery

January29

Please remember that students are able to correct most papers that have below an 80% in math for grade recovery.  These assignments almost always have a note from us saying they need to correct, redo or see one of us about the assignment. Please remind your student to take this opportunity to improve their score.
